Theta Xi fraternity (3340 S. Michigan Ave.). In the 1970s it retained the iron Greek letters which projected from its top story. But those had now been joined by more warm and literally approachable wooden letters posted at ground level. Date of photograph unknown. Date range listed is approximate.
