IIT also created spaces for artistic and humane expression. Art galleries were a natural extension of the school’s commitment to architecture and design (both in content and in setting). Students both enjoyed performances by visiting artists as well as staging their own ensembles and theatrical productions. In private settings, counsellors and academic advisors were on hand to guide individual students through periods of crisis and stress.
